We invite you to become a member. General membership is $25 annually which includes our Annual Barbecue for members.

Meetings are usually held on the first Monday of the month during the months of October-December and February-May at the Garden Club of Jacksonville, 1005 Riverside Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32204 unless otherwise noted on the meetings and events listings. Monthly meetings may be rescheduled or cancelled due to holidays or other circumstances.

Meetings & memberships are open to anyone (male or female) interested in participating with our organization. Members can participate in a monthly plant exchange, learn tips about gardening from peers as well as presentations by local gardening experts.

The Men’s Garden Club, along with the City of Jacksonville maintains a Camellia Garden at Riverside Park. The Camellia Garden was created in 1967 and showcases one of the area’s finest horticultural specimens. We are able to tend the Camellia Garden frequently, thanks to our great volunteer members.

Some of our more notable endeavors include the Jim Watson Scholarship Fund & Duval County 4-H Endowment at the University of Florida and the Aloe Vera Project

The Club’s Ortega Camellia Festival Committee organized and hosted the 1st Annual Ortega Camellia Festival that took place on January 27, 2024.
